Role Overview
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Product to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our product platform. You’ll oversee a cross-functional team responsible for product management, product ownership and business analysis supporting scrum execution teams, and strategic partner relationships — ensuring we build the right things, the right way, for the right users.


As part of the leadership team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our roadmap, refining our ability to rapidly prototype, and mature our measurement of outcomes to better inform go-forward decisions and impact for financial institutions, credit unions and their members.

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Execution
    • Maintain a deep understanding of community financial institution needs, specifically around digital marketing and growing their FI (through lending, deposits, and non-interesting income).
    • Define and evolve the product vision and strategic product roadmap in alignment with company strategy.
    • Prioritize opportunities based on customer needs, business impact, and market trends.
    • Partner with Engineering, QA, Release Management and Marketing to deliver high-quality, high-impact releases.
    • Understand key vendor/partner market, relative install base, and relative capabilities (LOS, Core, Payments)
    • Represent the product with clients and market-facing events, understand market trends and whitespace differentiation
    • Determine and execute on strategic partnership opportunities, identifying and building relationships with new partners and developing POC’s
    • Own the pricing strategy for the Digital Storefront product suite
  • UX & Design Leadership
    • Champion a seamless, intuitive user experience across our platform.
    • Guide the team in creating user-centered workflows and UI patterns, leveraging and maintain the existing design system.
  • Product Measurement
    • Build a structured approach to gather, analyze, and apply product and product feature insights.
    • Ensure product decisions are backed by qualitative and quantitative research.
    • Represent the voice of the customer and end user across the organization.
    • Stay up to date on industry and technology trends to ensure DSF continues to drive product-market fit and leverage appropriate technologies to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage.
    • Study the competition, both current and evolving, to drive DSF differentiation
  • Team Development
    • Lead, mentor, and grow the Product team.
    • Foster a collaborative, outcomes-oriented culture focused on impact and learning.
    • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and feedback loops to drive team performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Client-facing teams, and Marketing to understand customer needs and communicate roadmap priorities.
    • Present product strategy and outcomes to executive leadership, board members, and strategic partners.
    • Design, run and adapt the DSF Client Advisory Program and DSF User Group
       
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 in a senior leadership role overseeing product, design, and/or research.
  • Proven success in B2B SaaS or fintech; experience with financial institutions or credit unions is a major plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to accomplish business objectives. Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with across teams, with client staff, and management.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision making, behavioral UX, and agile product development.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution.
  • Competitive orientation with an innate sense of urgency, a proven ability to move quickly, make data-driven decisions, always be professional and direct, and adapt to changing internal and external needs.
